Federal Government has demanded justice over the burning of a Nigeria to death in Tripoli, Libya last week.

According to the statement, the Chairman NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri Erewa, made this demand when she met with the Libyan Ambassador to Nigeria, Ayad Attayary in Abuja to register federal government’s disgust over the incident.

It says Investigation to ascertain the full identity of the victim is on cause while the three alleged killers are under full investigation and interrogations and will face judgment soon.

Similarly, the Second Summit of State Diaspora Focal Point Officers has commenced in Abuja with the aim of attracting foreign investment and developing the economy.

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM in a statement explains that the Summit is a stock-taking and consolidation charting a way forward for National Development.

It says One of the Summit’s goals is to advocate speedy Validation and approval of the National Diaspora Policy by the Federal Executive Council.

The statement narrated that the State Diaspora Focal Point Officers is made up of Commissioners, Special Advisers, Director Generals and Coordinators all over the States in the country on Diaspora Matters
