Jigawa State Government says Sunday, 25th October 2020 has been fixed for reopening of schools across the state.

A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Higher Education, Engineer Muhammad T Muhammad and made available to Radio Nigeria.

The statement says the resolution was reached following submission of the report of the technical committee set up by the state government to work out modalities for the re-opening of schools.

The statement further explaines that the committee will in due course publish the time table and mode of study in conformity with covid 19 safety protocols before the reopening day.

It also says the committee is set to reconvene on Monday 12th October 2020 for another meeting with the management of Higher Institutions of learning to pave way for their reopening.
