House of Representatives is set to recover all ecological funds from undeserving agencies and states across the country.

He re-iterated that the committee would not leave any stone unturned in ensuring that all funds disbursed to the wrong destinations were recovered and pumped back into the main ecological account for local government and states can benefit.

In a remark, the Director of Pollution Control in the Ecological Project Office, Clinton Igwe, said sharing ecological funds was done by the Federal Allocation Committee while his office only receives money meant for the execution of key projects.

Also speaking, Acting Accountant General of the Federation Sylvia Okolieboh, represented by the Director Federation Revenue and Special Account Abdulkareem Ibrahim clarified that the Ecological fund was Incorporated in the monthly allocation.

In a message, the Speaker House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, said the hearing was designed to allow the house to gather data to develop a framework that would guide the government in decision-making on the fund.
