The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Abdulkareem Sabo Mohammed disclosed this to Radio Nigeria in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital.

According to him, the approval contained in a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor by the Executive Secretary, NUC, through the commission’s Director of Accreditation says the accreditation is valid for five years.

Professor Abdulkareem Sabo Mohammed explained that the accreditation was followed by the inspection and validation of manpower resources and facilities available for the training of highly skilled graduates in respective disciplines.

He expressed gratitude to the staff and students of the university for this great achievement and assured that the university would not rest on its oars in maintaining the standards and quality of its programs.
