The annual joint West African Social Activities WASA of the Nigerian Army comes up tomorrow at the Minna military cantonment.

The epoch occasion which is an annual event organised by Nigerian Army usually affords officers soldiers families and friends the opportunity to come together and interact freely.

This is contained in a statement signed and issued to Newsmen in Minna by the Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations TRADOC Nigerian Army Lieutenant Colonel Ademola Adegoke.

According to the statement the West African Social Activities WASA is a Forum for showcasing cultural displays from across various ethnic groups in Nigeria towards demonstrating unity in diversity.

It however added that the annual event is a practice which the Nigerian Army holds in high esteem and also as part of its genuine efforts to enhance and promote the corporate social responsibility of Nigerian Army.
