A total of two hundred and seventy students from two hundred to five hundred levels of Federal University of Technology Minna in Niger state that fall in first class range have been offered partial scholarship.

Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Abdullahi Bala announced this while presenting winners of the award with certificates in a colourful ceremony at Gidan Kwano campus Minna.

Prof Abdullahi Bala also presented cash to tẹn winners of gold silver and bronze medals that represented the university at various national and international competitions.

He said this is in appreciation of their efforts as well as to further motivate them for future outstanding performance.

Prof Abdullahi Bala who appealed to the students to continue to remain committed and responsible in the pursuit of ther education slso assured them of his support at all time to succeed.

He said the partial scholarship is due to the number of students as such they can only cater for one third of their registration fees while thirty twenty and ten thousand naira cash is for winners of gold silver and bronze medals respectively.

Special Jumaat prayers was observed at central Mosque both at Bosso and Gidan Kwano campuses while special interdenominational Church services for the convocation will be held on Sunday at the Chapel of Grace in all the campuses.
