The Chairman, Senate Committee on Information, representing Jigawa North-west Senatorial zone Senator Danladi Abdullahi Sankara has donated 12 cars and over N12 million to All Progressive Congress APC Jigawa state chapter.
Commenting, The APC chairman Jigawa state chapter Alhaji Aminu Ahmed commended the senator for various projects which include educational, water supply, empowerment, agricultural and other infrastructure projects that improve the lives of people of the area.
According to him, the party is proud of his representation which added value to the APC popularity and acceptability among Jigawa state people.
Alhaji Aminu explained that the direct contribution given to the party by the senator would certainly enhance the party strength in facing the 2023 general election.
He said, the cars donation was presented to the party chairmen of the 12 local government councils under senator Sankara zone and also 200,000 was given to each beneficiary for fuel.
The APC chairman, therefore called on party leaders and other political office holders to emulate the commitment of Senator Danladi Abdullahi Sankara to move the party forward and community development.
