Lugga LGA Attack: Zamfara State Distributes Relief Materials To 84 Victims

Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Zamfara State, has distributed food items and other essentials commodities to 84 victims of recent attack in Lugga, Maru Local Government Area of the state.

Commissioner of the Ministry, Hajiya Fa’ika Ahmad Marshal who Flagged off the distribution in Lugga, said the gesture was part of the state government’s supports to victims of banditry and other criminal activities that had bedeviled the state for years.

The items distributed to widows, orphans and households whose properties were destroyed include rice, beans, indomie, clothes among others.

She urged the beneficiaries to ensure judicious use of the items and not indulge in selling them as they were meant to reduce their hardship being undergone as a result of the attack to their communities.

The Commissioner who was represented by the Director Administration of the ministry Malam Aminu Umar expressed state government’s commiseration to the people of Lugga and Maru Local Government Area

The District Head Of Lugga, Ardo Mustapha Muhammad Lugga on behalf of beneficiaries applauded the administration of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle for the gesture and prayed for lasting peace to prevail in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
