NSCDC Deploys Over 2500 For EID-EL-KABIR In Kaduna

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kaduna State Command has deployed over 2,500 of it’s officers and men as part of effort to ensure security of lives and property in this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Celebration across the State.

In a statement by the Command Public Relation Officer, Mr Orndiir Terzungwe says the State Commandant, Mr Godwin Miebi, had earlier directed Divisional Officers through area Commanders to mobilize all personnel in their formations and brief them on the operational strategies put in place for maximum results.

The statement explains that, all head of departments and units at the headquarters have been mobilized under operations department, briefed and posted accordingly.

According to the statement, maximum surveillance, foot and vehicular patrols are to be strictly maintained with a view to protecting Critical National Assets and infrastructure from antics of vandals.

It says operatives attached to Anti-vandal unit, Counter Terrorism Unit, Intelligence department and the recently launched Rapid Response Squad were adequately mobilized and briefed on how to perform intra duties and in synergy with other agencies.

It urges residents of the State to report suspicious persons and acts which have security threats to the corps or other security agencies for necessary action.

While calling on residents of the state to embrace peace and harmony, also felicitated with Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasiru Elrufai, his Deputy, members of the executive as well and legislature and people of the state.
