Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly and Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of States Legislatures, Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji, has congratulated people of the State and Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
The Speaker, on behalf of members of the 10th Niger State House of Assembly, extended warm greetings and felicitations to the people of Niger State and Nigerians, describing the anniversary as an important moment to reflect on the nation’s journey and renew commitment to peace, unity and development.
He assured the people of Niger State of more purposeful policies and legislative actions aimed at improving their lives, and called on them to continue to support governments at all levels, insisting that collective support and cooperation remain important for sustainable development.
The Speaker however assured people of the State that the present security challenges confronting the State and the country will be overcome, while urging them to remain united, peaceful and supportive of efforts to ensure lasting peace and security.
He further reaffirmed the commitment of the Niger State House of Assembly to continue to enact laws that will promote development and direct benefit to the people.
