The All Progressives Congress (APC), Kebbi State Chapter, says the party remains strong and united and is committed to advancing the development of the state.
Special Adviser to the Kebbi State Governor on Political Matters, Alhaji Kabiru Sani, stated this at a press conference held at the party’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
He said the party’s unity and strength would enable it to defeat opposition candidates with overwhelming votes at all levels of elections.
Alhaji Sani disclosed that the party leadership had met to deliberate on developments and taken precautionary measures against any negative move, either within or outside the party, capable of undermining the collective objectives of the APC and its leadership.
The Special Adviser urged the people of the state to continue to support Governor Nasir Idris, describing his administration as purposeful and committed to improving agriculture, education, healthcare and security.
He expressed confidence that the governor would achieve more if re-elected in 2027.
Alhaji Sani dismissed claims that opposition parties were gaining strength to dislodge the present administration in the next general elections, describing such efforts as a “wild goose chase” without direction or destination.
He urged opposition members to join the APC, which he described as a people-oriented party.
The Special Adviser also advised APC members to disregard rumours and hearsay capable of causing division, urging them to take advantage of the party’s open-door policy to seek clarification on issues they do not understand.
