Residents of Kinkinau and other communities across Kaduna South Local Government have received free medical services

The initiative was aimed at bringing essential healthcare services closer to the people, particularly vulnerable residents

Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Dr. Rayyan Hussain, explained that the outreach would improve access to quality healthcare, education and other social services through people-oriented programmes

Rayyan Hussain noted that the outreach, offered free medical consultations, laboratory tests, drugs and health screenings, to promote preventive healthcare and improve the well-being of residents.

He explained that the programme aligned with the people-centred policies of Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, stressing that his administration would continue to complement the state’s efforts in delivering quality healthcare and other developmental projects at the grassroots.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Kaduna State Branch, Dr. Hassan Bala Salihu, commended the gesture for prioritising welfare of residents through investments in healthcare, education and agriculture.

He described the free medical outreach as a laudable initiative that enabled residents to know their health status and access treatment at no cost

The Hakimi Tudun Wada Community, Alhaji Mahmud Tahir also praised the gesture and commended Governor Uba Sani for supporting programmes that enhanced quality of lives of Kaduna residents.
