Kaduna State government has reiterated it’s resolve to support and provide safe and enabling environment for the NYSC Scheme to thrive.
Governor Uba Sani made this known at the closing ceremony of the 2026 Batch A stream two orientation course held at the NYSC temporary camp in Kaduna.
The governor, who was represented by Commissioner for Youth Development, Gloria Ibrahim called on corps employers to accept corps members and uphold their welfare and safety.
He encouraged Corps members to respect traditions of the host communities and take advantage of the Community Development Services (CDS) to initiate projects which addresses local needs.
He added that corps members should accept their posting in good faith and ensure they impact lives and uplift the community they serve.
The state coordinator, Mrs. Efeke Murna Dadaza also urged corps members to uphold discipline and values learnt while on camp, calling on them to be worthy ambassador of the scheme throughout the service year.
She appreciated efforts of the Kaduna state government, collaborating agencies and camp officials among others for ensuring the success of the orientation exercise.
Corps members have been posted to their places of primary assignment to continue the mandatory service to the Nation.
