Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has called for unity and cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, while reaffirming his support for President Bola Tinubu’s continued leadership ahead of 2027.
Idris made the call at a state unity rally organised in support of President Tinubu and Governor Idris’ second term, held at the Haliru Abdu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
He said President Bola Tinubu would continue to deliver more developmental projects to the state, noting that his administration remains committed to improving the welfare of Nigerian citizens.
Idris noted that, the people of kebbi state had continued to identify with the leadership of the President, as he cited ongoing developmental projects and federal interventions as evidence of the administration’s commitment to the state.

The Governor also assured to deliver more dividend of democracy in various sectors across the state and urged good people of the state to support the APC administration with prayers to achieve the desired objectives.
Speaking earlier, the state APC Chairman Alhaji Kana Zuru and the state APC women leader Aishatu Abubakar Gunabi, said the party remained united and strong and will continue to show solidarity to the governor and the president Bola Ahamed, urging other political office holders to raise up to the expectations.
According to them, the Party will not give automatic ticket to any contestant but there is consensus and primary elections were necessary.
