Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna has formally expressed his intention to contest for the governorship of Gombe State in the 2027 elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The declaration was made Yesterday at the formal submission of his Letter of Intent at both the ward and local government levels in accordance with party procedures.
Speaking after the formal submission of his Letter Intent at the Local Government Secretariat of the APC in Gombe, Alh Jamilu Gwamna described his ambition as driven by a “New Vision for Continuity and Sustainability.
He emphasised his commitment to good governance, transparency and people oriented leadership.
Gwamna noted that when voted into power, he would prioritise peace and unity, economic growth, youth and women empowerment, and sustainable infrastructural development across the state.
He called on party members , supporters and the general public to rally behind his ambition, expressing confidence about building more prosperous and sustainable future for Gombe State.
In response, the Gombe State Chairman of the APC, Mr Mohammed Ndus, wished Alh Jamilu Gwamna success in his governorship bid.
He stressed the importance of unity among party members to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.
