Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says his administration is extending basic infrastructure to the nooks and crannies of the state to make life better for the residents.

The Governor stated this in Tsaragi, Edu Local Government, during an inspection of the 1.7km Tsaragi Ndafa road under construction.

According to him no part of the state would be denied access to basic infrastructure including road network, restating his government’s commitment to inclusive growth.

AbdulRazaq said 50 percent execution has been achieved with the ongoing construction of hydraulic structures and drainage systems, hoping that the project will be delivered soon.

“No community should be left behind in the provision of infrastructure. That is why our infrastructural development cuts across the whole state,”

“As you can see, this is one of the communities that many people may think should not get access to infrastructure. (We are) taking the resources of the state down to everywhere and making sure that people benefit and have access to good infrastructure.

“This road is about 1.7km. The contractor is doing hydraulic structures and drainage systems and it is about 50 percent complete. The contractor promised to complete the construction soon,” he said.

The Governor had earlier received briefings on the road from the site engineer, Owode Adebayo.

The road connects a few farming communities in Tsaragi Emirate.END
