The Saminaka People Progressive Forum (SAPPEF) in Lere LGA of Kaduna State has donated a new Hilux vehicle engine to the Nigerian Police Force, Saminaka Division, to strengthen security and promote peaceful coexistence in the area.

The gesture is aimed at supporting ongoing efforts to sustain peace, particularly within the Saminaka Emirate Council.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Forum’s Chairman, the Treasurer of SAPPEF Alhaji Adamu Nuhu, said the donation was part of the group’s commitment to enhancing community security and supporting law enforcement agencies.

He noted that the Forum considers security a top priority and will continue to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure safety in the area.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Emir of Saminaka, His Royal Highness Musa Mohammed Sani, expressed appreciation to the Forum for the initiative.

He described the donation as timely, noting that repairing and upgrading the Hilux vehicle would improve security operations and strengthen relations between the police and the community.

The monarch urged other groups and individuals to emulate the Forum’s gesture in supporting security agencies.

Also speaking, the Chief Imam of Mangorori Central Mosque, Saminaka, Malam Shuaibu Yahaya, offered prayers for continued peace, unity, and divine guidance for all stakeholders involved.
