The eight Local Government Council Chairmen of Zone C in Niger state have unanimously endorsed the candidature of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umar Bago for a second term.

Chairman of Mashegu Local Government Council, Alh Umar Jibrin Igade who stated this while ddressing Newsmen in Minna, on behalf of the Chairmen, said the endorsement was approved by stakeholders of their respective Local Government Councils.

Alh Umar Jibrin Igade said the endorsement of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago was duẹ to his Agricultural revolution, Infrastructural development, Education, Health and his relentless effort at pursuing the New Niger Agenda with vigour that has recorded tremendous success.

Hẹ said the five kilometre road construction projects in all the twenty five Local Government Council’s of Niger State by Governor Umar Bago are worthy of commendation, and however explained that they embark on this mission without the consent of President Tinubu and Governor Umar Bago, but wẹre doing it on merit based on their track record of achievements.

On the endorsement of President Tinubu, Alh Umar Jibrin Igade said most of the projects embarked upon by Governor Umar Bago in parts of Niger State were done through the support of President Tinubu that gave them enough money to discharge their duties diligently.

He said the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has gone far in terms of effort by the present administration to fast track the commencement of direct funding for Local Government Councils in Nigeria, stressing that efforts by President Tinubu and Governor Umar Bago to address the problems of insecurity in some parts of Niger state and Nigeria have been yielding positive results and called for the support of all to succeed.

The eight Local Government Councils of Niger North Senatorial District comprises of Agwara, Borgu, Kontagora, Rijau, Mashegu, Mariga, Wushishi and Magama.
