The Wife of the Zamfara State Governor, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal has urged mothers and caregivers, to remain vigilant and attentive to the safety and well-being of their children particularly during the festive period of Sallah.

In a statement issued by her Press Secretary, Rabi Yusuf, described Ramadan as a sacred period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewal of faith.

She called on the parents and guardians to closely monitor the movement of their children during visitations and celebrations you, by ensuring they remain in safe and familiar environments at all times.

The Wife of the Governor further appealed to the people of Zamfara State to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan by promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect across communities, while extending love and support to the less privileged, widows, and vulnerable children.

She emphasized that building a safe, harmonious, and prosperous Zamfara is a collective responsibility, urged citizens to uphold values of kindness, tolerance, and a strong sense of community.

The Wife of the Governor warmly felicitates the Muslim Ummah in Zamfara State, across Nigeria and around the world on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan 1447AH.

Hajiya Huriyya commended the Muslim faithful for their devotion to fasting, prayers, steadfast and self-discipline.

While congratulating Muslims on the celebration, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal called on families,

She prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the fasts, prayers, and acts of charity of the faithful, and grants continued peace, protection, and prosperity to Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.
