The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Muhammad Ali Pate, says the Federal Government is deliberately using health and social sector reforms to heal divisions, unite the country and inspire national development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Pate stated this at the first National Summit of Traditional and Religious Leaders on Health and Wellbeing, held at the state House Abuja.
He thanked traditional and religious leaders from across the states and the FCT for attending the summit, describing their participation as critical to improving health outcomes at the grassroots.
According to the minister, President Tinubu’s vision places Nigerians at the centre of development, noting that the wellbeing of the people remains the nation’s greatest asset.
He said the President intentionally chose health and social development as tools for national healing and unity.
