From Ali Muhammad Rabiu (Kwara)

Nigerians have been urged to be tolerant in their religious differences and ensure peaceful coexistence to make the country better.

Chief Iman of Hilal Crescent, Imam Adam Jamiu made the call in his Jumaat sermon in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

According to him, God in His desire created us in different religion and tradition for a purpose.

Iman Jamiu advised Nigerians to accept themselves irrespective of their religious background.

He urged Muslims and Christians to adopt dialogue in resolving contentious issues.

Iman Jamiu however, called on government at all levels to ensure timely resolution of issues in dispute to prevent the break down of law and order.
