The Executive Secretary of the Zamfara State Scholarship Board, Professor Rasheedah Liman, has received a delegation of graduate students who recently obtained their certificates after ten years of graduation from Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The delegation, led by Abdulwaheed Naibi, paid the courtesy visit to Professor Liman in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
Speaking during the visit, Professor Liman thanked the graduates for the gesture and reaffirmed the commitment of the Zamfara State Government to providing sustained educational support to all indigenes of the state.
She emphasized that the government remains determined to address challenges faced by Zamfara students, both within and outside the country, to ensure their academic progress and success.
In appreciation of her efforts, the graduates presented Professor Liman with an award of excellence.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Abdulwaheed Naibi, expressed gratitude to the Executive Secretary for her full support in facilitating the collection and release of their certificates after a decade-long delay.
He noted that the intervention had brought relief and renewed hope to the affected graduates.
Naibi assured that the beneficiaries would reciprocate the gesture by contributing meaningfully to the development of Zamfara State in their respective fields of endeavor.
