The Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA) has held its maiden in-house training for staff, focusing on the application of Civil Service Rules, work ethics, and job performance.
The training, which marks a milestone in the Authority’s capacity-building drive, was organized to strengthen staff efficiency, promote professionalism, and ensure strict compliance with public service regulations.
In her address, the Managing Director of KNUPDA, Arc. Hauwa Hassan Tudun-Wada, described the training as a key step toward entrenching a culture of discipline and excellence in public service.
Arc. Hauwa commended the enthusiasm and commitment of staff, stressing that understanding and applying civil service rules are crucial for effective service delivery, accountability, and improved performance within the Authority.
The Director of Personnel Management, Alhaji Salihi Yusuf, who facilitated the sessions, highlighted the importance of maintaining professionalism, and integrity in public service.
He urged participants to put the knowledge gained into practice for the overall progress of the Authority and the State.
The program featured interactive presentations, discussions, and practical sessions aimed at equipping participants with deeper insights into workplace ethics, discipline, and productivity.
