The National Examination Council NECO says it will continue to reward hard work among its staff as a deliberate step to enhance their productivity for effective service delivery.

NECO Registrar and Chief Executive Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi stated this at the twenty twenty twenty four staff Productivity Award held at the council headquarters in Minna, Niger state.

Professor Dantani Wushishi maintained that it will also serve as a morale booster for staff of NECO if they know that the Management is aware of what they are doing, which he said will ginger then to do more towards achieving the desired objective.

He said that is why do to the integrity of NECO Examination they don’t have any case where global institution reject its Examination is rejected or subject the candidates holding such exams to extra screening before they are admitted into the institutions.

On why Examination mal practices in NECO Examination is drastically reduced annually, he said they are collaborating with service providers, police and DSS intelligence unit as well as the ICPC and EFCC to curtail the excesses of students.

Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi also commended staff of National Examination Council NECO, for their commitment, sacrifice, due diligence and effective supervision during examination had tremendously helped in minimising exam mal practices, in addition to enhancing the credibility of NECO examination.

In his remarks Speaker of the Niger state House of Assembly, Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin daji said members of the state House of Assembly are proud to be associated with NECO for its integrity in making the entire system effective, functional and result oriented.

He attributed the successes recorded by Prof Dantani Wushishi to unity, team work and his ability to make the difference, stressing that NECO under his watch had witness massive transformation.

Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin daji also donated one million naira to the best student of the NECO in recognition of his outstanding performance.

NECO retirees have also benefitted from the award ceremony
