Media professionals have been urged to verify their source of information to ensure good reportage of events in the society.

The chief Imam, Al-Waheed Central Mosque, Imam Mustapha Luqman made the call while speaking at the Interdenominational service organised by the Correspondents Chapel of NUJ,to commence the year 2025 Press Week ,and 45th year anniversary/Award with the theme”Renewed Hope Agenda:-Mid-Term Appraisal of The Tinubu’s Reforms, Success and Prospects”held in Ilorin,Kwara state .

He advised them to follow the rules in the discharge of their duties of information dissemination.

According to him God has created us to have good relationships with a formidable system of communication.

Imam Lukman urged media practitioners to be just and do good among themselves .

In his presentation, Pastor Adedoyin Adeyemi of Exodus Bethel Bible Church International Ganmo, from the book of prover (23:3) advised media professionals to be of good behaviour while on the job and outside.

He urged them to remember that they can not be on the job for ever . adding that members of the chapel should have impact in people’s life.

Pastor Adeyemi advised them to love one another and do good at all times.

He advised Nigerians to have a spirit of forgiveness and pray for the leaders to have divine intervention to lead the nation aright.
