The management of Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club has announced Sunday, 10th August 2025, as the official date for the resumption of training and club activities ahead of the 2025/2026 football season.

According to a statement signed by the club’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Isyaku, all players, coaching crew, and stakeholders are expected to report at the club’s training ground by 4:00 pm prompt.

The resumption will kick off a comprehensive pre-season program, which includes fitness tests, tactical drills, and team bonding exercises aimed at boosting team performance for the new season.

Chairman of the club, Gambo Umar Labbo, emphasized that the pre-season is a time for commitment, discipline, and professionalism as the club seeks to improve on its past performance.

He noted that this season presents a golden opportunity for the team to build on previous achievements and raise the bar in both technical and tactical play.

The club reiterated its ambition to remain among the top contenders in the league and called on players to resume mentally focused, physically fit, and ready with all necessary training kits and documents.

With unity and dedication, the management expressed confidence that Jigawa Golden Stars FC will continue to make the state proud.
