Kano State Government, has directed all Primary and Post Primary Schools in the state to proceed for the Eid il-Kabir Break from Wednesday, 4th June, 2025 to Monday 16th June 2025.

While boarding students will resume on Sunday 15th June 2025.

A statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment Ministry of Education Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru announced that parents and guardians of students in boarding schools are therefore requested to pick up their children by the early hours of Wednesday, 4th June, 2025.

The statement further explained that all other aspects of the 2024/2025 school academic calendar which include the stipulated public holidays remained valid.

It quoted the Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda urging parents and guardians to ensure that their children comply with the resumption date and thanked them for the usual support and cooperation given to the ministry.

” I want to use this opportunity to appreciate the usual support and cooperation given to the Ministry by the good people of the state and also wish the students and pupils for a successful Sallah Break ” the statement added.
