Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, has appealed to the FG to intensifies effort towards ending security challenges facing the country.
Chairman of the Association Sokoto state Chapter Rev. Moses Kayode made the appeal in his Easter message to Christians in the area.

The CAN Chairman who worries that the security challenges has shortchanged the socio- security and economic development of the people in the country
despite the huge amount of money expanded in the sector.
He regretted that thousands of lives and property were lost due to the pervasive security challenges which separated Nigerians between the lines of ethnic and religious differences.
Rev. Moses kayode said the theme of this year’s Easter Celebrations, “Is Risen”, echoes the heartbeat of our Christian faith”was aimed at praying for government and leaders at all levels for peace Unity and Development.
He said Christians must continue to pray for wisdom for
leaders, healing for the brokenhearted, righteousness, justice, peace and unity among our communities.
Reverend Kayode said the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of Christian faith stressing that It is divine proof that life can succeed over death, light can overcome darkness, and peace can reign even in the midst of chaos.
He urged Christians to unite across denominations, tribes, and tongues to raise voices in praise and lift hands in prayer for peace, safety and well-being of every citizen.
Reverend Kayode extended his condolence for the death of Pope Francis who died today in Vatican’s casa santa marta.
