Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar has presented new pick-up vehicles to nine Air Warrant Officers (AWOs), to boost their morale and ensure discipline.
Presenting the vehicles to the beneficiaries at the NAF base, Asokoro in Abuja, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar identified human resources as the most critical asset in any organisation.
He pointed out that the welfare and motivation of personnel are critical factors in ensuring that the NAF meets its goals and aspirations.
A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the NAF, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet quotes the Air Chief describing the AWOs as selected breed of distinguished senior non-commissioned officers tasked with the responsibility of maintaining regimentation and discipline, as well as upholding military ethics and traditions.
Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar urged the AWOs to continue communicating the needs of their subordinates to superior authorities to inform impactful policy decisions.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, AWO Menone Perefhibo expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Air Chief, noting that the gesture was a testament to his commitment to enhancing the welfare personnel.
