Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has appealed to Nigerians to pray for the new administration at all levels for effective and efficient delivery of dividends of democracy to electorates.

The governor stated this in his Eid-el-Kabir message to Muslim Ummah through the Chief Press Secretary, Ahmed Idris and made available to Radio Nigeria in Birnin Kebbi.

The Governor said, the call became imperative in view of the importance of seeking divine intervention in all aspects of human endeavour.

According to him, prayer is key to success of any administration, as leaders cannot do better except with people’s support, cooperation and most importantly their prayers.

“As we celebrate the 1444 Eid-el-Kabir, may Allah accept our Ibadat and put us among His pius servants that will inherit Aljannatul Firdaus”.

Governor Idris, urged Muslims to exhibit the spirit of brotherliness, tolerance and accommodate all manner of people irrespective of ethnicity and religion.

He urged Nigerians to see themselves as one striving hard to ensure unity, progress and development of the nation.

While congratulating the Muslims for yet another Sallah celebration, the governor advised Nigerians to project the gospel of peace and unity.
