The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Police Command, CP Kolo Yusuf has met with other heads of security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission-INEC, to strategize on how to beef up security in all the nooks and crannies of the state before, during and after the 2023 Governorship and House of Assembly elections.

In a press release made available to Radio Nigeria by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Mohammed Shehu said, the meeting was attended by heads of security Agencies and discussed extensively on election security management ahead of the March 18th, 2023 polls.

According to him, the CP and other heads of security agencies resolved to improve and sustain the working synergy to ensure adequate security and safety of the state so as to provide a conducive environment for free, fair, credible and peaceful elections.

The Commissioner of Police while reassuring the security and safety of the citizens, urged members of the general public to be law abiding and at the same time warned trouble makers to desist from anything capable of causing breach of the public peace and security.
