President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned the Dala Inland Dry Port in Kano state.

The President arrived at exactly 10:32am and he was accompanied by some of his cabinet members.

The President was received by the Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje and the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Jaaji Sambo and the
Managing Director of the Dala inland dry port, Ahmad Rabiu.

Other dignitaries present at the event include the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Shippers’ Council, (NSC) Mr. Emmanuel Jime, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation, Magdalene Ajani and the former ES NSC, Barr. Hassan Bello.

Shortly after commissioning Dala inland Dry port, President Buhari proceeded to Kano Grid Solar Power project at Kumbotso.

The President alongside Kano State Governor, bdullahi Umar Ganduje and his Deputy Dr Nasir Yusif Gawuna Commissioned the Solar Power project.

The Solar Power Project would be providing power supply to some of the industries in kano which is a way forward to ensuring Kano still remains an industrial and commerce hub.
