The Chairman, Trade Fair main organizing committee of KADCIMMA, Mr Ishaya Idi addressing newsmen on the level of preparations for next year’s Kaduna International Trade Fair.

The Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture-KADCCIMA says the 44th edition of the Kaduna International Trade Fair is scheduled to hold from Friday, 3rd February to Sunday, 12th February, next year.

Chairman, Trade Fair main organizing Committee of KADCCIMA, Mr Ishaya Idi disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the level of preparations for the event.

Mr Ishaya Idi explained that the Trade Fair, which coincides with KADCCIMA’s 50th Anniversary is expected to host Industrialists, Manufacturers, Producers, Fabricators, Distributors and Marketers both within and outside the country.

Other invitees to the event include policy makers, federal and state ministries of commerce, NIPC, trade and investment division of ministry of foreign affairs, relevant MDAs, Nigerian Missions abroad as well as chambers of commerce across the country.

Mr Ishaya Idi pointed out that sub-committees have already been constituted and have since swung into action to ensure a successful hosting of the anniversary fair.

The Chairman assured of improved security situation for participants and visitors to the fair, stressing that an improved turnout of local and international participants are expected.

Mr Idi further disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari is the special guest of honour and is expected to declare the event open.

The theme for the fair is: Promoting Value, Addition for Economic Growth and Development
