Federal Government has withdrawn the circular directing Pro Chancellors and Vice Chancellors of Federal Universities to reopen their institutions.

The letter was released and signed by the Director Finance and Accounts, National Universities Commission, NUC, Mr. Sam Onazi on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed.

The letter urges all pro chancellors and vice chancellors to take note and that further development and information will be communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Federal Government had earlier directed Pro chancellors and Vice chancellors of federal Universities to reopen following the ruling of the industrial court of Nigeria on September 21st last week.
