The Senate has resumed plenary this Tuesday the 20th of September 2022 after their annual vacation

Due to some renovation and remodelling work going on at the National Assembly the senators were not able to sit at the chamber but at the temporary venue; a committee room to continue with their day to day activities

Being a temporary venue Journalists were not able to access their proceedings as usual, meaning access to news especially on their deliberation will not be possible until after their session

Today’s session began with an executive session after which they continued with normal proceedings

In today’s order paper it is scheduled to present five bills as part of their business for the.day and consider two bills.

The two bills to be considered are a bill for an act to amend the federal high court act to increase the number of judges from one hundred to one hundred and seventy two

Secondly a bill for an act to establish the National institute for educational planning and administration Suleja
