Kano state government has map out frame work for effective health care service delivery to the people of the state.

Commissioner of health Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa stated this in kaduna at the at the annual operational planning for health sector.

He said seventeen percent of the state budget was allocated to the health sector in this years budget and express the hope that more resources will be allocated to address new emerging challenges such as covid19 and monkey pox.

Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa maintained that the annual operational planning review previous years plan with a view to ensure the provision of quality health care services in line with international standard.

The commissioner said said priority on next year’s operational planning will include completion of cancer center and four Emirates hospitals as well as strengthening quality of service delivery at both primary and secondary health care facilities.

Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa assured of giving priority to strengthening regulations, integration of private health sector and improve accreditation of courses as well as migration of certificates to ordinary national diploma and Higher national diploma in Kano state health training institutions
