President Muhammadu Buhari is expected in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, on Thursday, August 18, on a one day official visit.

President Buhari during the visit will unveil humanitarian support to victims of insurgency as part of activity to mark 2022 World humanitarian day.

The president will also Commission Teachers quarters at Bulumkuttu and virtually Commission 500 resettlement houses at Molai.

The visit is the third working visit by the president to Maiduguri in one year after that of June 17 and December 23 2021.
