A new Comptroller for Niger Kogi Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has assumed duty with an assurance that he will not disappoint the Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service Colonel Hameed Ibrahim Ali retired.

The new Comptroller Mr Busayo Kadejo was speaking at the handing and taken over ceremony held at Minna Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service.

Mr Busayo Kadejo explained that with the new efforts of Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service Colonel Hameed Ibrahim Ali retired at improving and enhancing the welfare of officers and men of the service they have no reason whatsoever to perform below expectation since honour is given to whom its due.

The new Comptroller Niger Kogi Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service who promised to surpass the achievements of his predicessor also solicited for the support of officers and men of Niger Command to succeed. 

On Journalists Mr Busayo Kadejo described them as critical stakeholders  and partners in progress saying that he will operate an open door policy of administration to achieve greater height.

He also called for constructive criticism to move forward.

In his remarks the outgoing Comptroller Niger Kogi Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service Alh Adamu Abubakar Mohammed who was posted to Bauchi state appealed to officers and men of the Command to extend support given to him to the new Comptroller to move forward.

Alh Adamu Abubakar Mohammed said change is constant in life he has come and contributed  his own quota to the development of the service and that it is now time for the new Comptroller to come and continue from where he has stopped.
