The Minister of women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen has congratulated Team Nigeria’s performance at the just concluded Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
She said that their brilliant show had put the country on the global arena as the best African Team in the competition
According to her with such feat achieved, women can also bring about a robust and strategic approach in addressing challenges and continually be given the opportunity to showcase their potential.
Team Nigeria won 12 Gold, 9 Silver and 14 bronze medals with the women carting away most of the medals in all categories.
