Nigerians have been urged to eschew primordial sentiments for the socio-economic development of the country.
Vice Presidential candidate of the APC, Senator Kashim Shettima made the call at the inauguration of National, State and Zonal co-ordinators of Arewa Youth for Tinubu, as well as the unveiling of its national office in Abuja.
He explained that Nigeria remains the hope of the African continent and that the earlier Nigerians unite to enjoy its demographic dividends, the better.
Senator Kashim Shettima, who described the event as timely, noted that youths have pivotal roles to play in ushering the next political dispensation.
The Vice Presidential candidate assured that in the next political dispensation, the APC would carry the youths along in the scheme of things, adding that the party would run an all-inclusive government, premised on modern concepts of leadership.
Earlier, National Co-ordinator of the movement, Comrade Jamaluddeen Kabiru Zamfara explained that Arewa Youth for Tinubu was the first movement in the North with structures across the Nineteen States of the North and the FCT.
He directed the state and zonal coordinators to ensure the full implementation of the vision and mission of the movement.
