Peoples Democratic Party PDP has presented Certificates of Return to 30 Candidates who won the party primaries in the National Assembly and State House of Assembly from Anambra State.

Speaking after receiving the Return Certificates in Abuja Senator Chris Uba, expressed gratitude to God and the people of Anambra, and reiterated their commitment to ensuring victory for the PDP at all levels during the 2023 general elections.

Senator Chris Uba stressed that their ability to restore unity and work as a family led to PDP having no problem in Anambra State and the party can succeed during the forthcoming general elections.

Responding to the existing relationship between Governor Charles Soludo who was voted into power on the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and PDP lawmakers in the state, Senator Uba, said they respect and consider him as a father to all people of Anambra State.

On her part, Senator Stella Oduah, who applauded the Delegates for voting en-masse during the primaries, assured that PDP Candidates were adequately equipped with effective strategies to make sure PDP lawmakers won all the seats both in the National and State Assemblies.

Senator Stella Oduah maintained that PDP had people with capacity and antecedents of performance in Anambra state stressing that they were re-contesting to maintain representation and continue doing the good work that would improve the lives of their constituents.

The lawmaker confirmed that PDP supporters in the state knew them as performers so they cannot leave what they know to what they do not know.

According to her, their campaign is going to be based on what they have done, what they are doing and what they are going to do especially on jobs, roads, water and light for the benefit of people and Anambra State in general.
