The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to former Governor of Imo State and a presidential aspirant, Senator Rochas Okorocha.

Justice Inyang Ekwo granted him bail on Tuesday in the sum of N50m and a surety in like sum.

The Judge gave the order while ruling on the bail application filed by Senator Okorocha who is the Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

The judge also directed Senator Okorocha to submit his international passport to the registry of the court and should not travel outside the jurisdiction of the court without the court’s permission.

Justice Ekwo ordered the court registry to notify the Nigeria Immigration Service that his international passport was in its custody.
