The Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli

The Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has advised parents to monitor the activities of their children to ensure a peaceful society.

He made the call in an interview with newsmen at his palace in Zaria.

Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli said parents must educate their children to always be law abiding and respect elders to be good citizens.

He stressed the need for youths to be peaceful in all their activities because violence will only take them backward.

The Emir condemned in strong terms the vandilization and looting of public and private properties in Kaduna State and some parts of the country by youths, saying that such attitude is not in our character.

Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli said the palliatives that were looted in some warehouse in Kaduna and some parts of the country were meant to be distributed to the people to relieve them from the hardship that the covid 19 pandemic came with.

He said youths should note that destroying public and private properties is never a justified means of expressing grievances.

He therefore urged youth and citizens in general to always engage government through peaceful means and avoid any action that will lead to additional sufferings that was experienced during the covid 19 lockdown in the State.

The Emir appreciated government for taking prompt action to avert another circle of unforeseen crisis in the State.

He urged the people of the State to engage in prayers for everlasting peace and progressive development in the State.
