President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in four new permanent secretaries to filled in the existing gap in the Federal civil service of the Federation.

Those sworn-in are Dr. Mary Ada Ogbe Representing Benue state, Shehu Ibrahim Jigawa state, Kachillom Shagti Daju from Plateau state and Beatrice Jeddi-Agba representing Edo state.

Their appointment followed a rigorous eligibility exercise conducted for Directors in the Federal Civil service, comprising a written examination, ICT competency test as well as an interactive session with a broad spectrum of stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

The brief but colorful swearing in ceremony conducted in compliance with the COVID 19 safety advisory was devoid of Presidential address.

After the swearing in, the weekly Federal executive council meeting commenced.
