Over two hundred orphans have benefited from Ramadan and the Sallah package under the Rauda Foundation Education and Welfare.

The Director of the foundation, sheik AbdullahiI Sulaiman Magore disclosed this while distributing the packages in Zaria.

Sheikh Abdullahi Magore explained that the package was divided into three, where some orphans received clothes, Cash, and ten kilograms of rice.

According to him, some received cash to establish businesses while some who are physically challenged were given 10 kilograms of rice, Millet, and sugar.

Sheikh Abdullahi Sulaiman Magore said the aim was to reduce the hardship faced by the less privileged in society, especially orphans and widows.

Also, the Deputy Director of the foundation sheik Ahmad Abdurrahman Adams decried the high rate of orphans in Nigeria.

He stressed the need for well-to-do individuals to intensify efforts to reduce the hardship of the needy across the country.

Speaking, the Chairman Orphans Committee Imam ibn Abu Rabah mosque Kofar Kibo Zaria City Mal Ahmad Umar khalmaro said the committee registered over one hundred orphans, adding that each orphan was given clothes, rice, sugar, and some cash.

They prayed to Allah to reward the management of the Raudah foundation’s education and welfare for reducing their hardship.
