Taraba State Government has approved a budgetary allocation of six billion naira in the 2022 budget to the Post Primary Education Board.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Mr. Dan’azumi Navoki made this known to newsmen on Wednesday in Jalingo, the capital city.

Navoki described the gesture by the state governor, Darius Ishaku as unprecedented, assuring that there would be turnaround productivity to reciprocate the gesture.

He said that the board had a total of 6000 teachers, adding that every school in the state had adequate members of staff posted to it.

The E.S advised the recently employed teachers tagged ‘rescue teachers’ to take their duty with utmost seriousness.

Mr. Dan’azumi Navoki, however, assured of training and retraining of teachers to place them at par with their counterparts anywhere in Nigeria.
