Speaker House of representatives Mr Femi Gbajabiamila says the Parliament will continue to treat issues that affect People’s interests.

Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, stated this at the public hearing on a bill seeking the establishment of Service Compact Management Agency SERVICOM and
the Bill to amend the National Lottery Act 2017.

Represented by the House Deputy leader Mr Peter Akpatason, the Speaker explained that the Bills deserved thorough considerations and debate between stakeholders and the legislators to produce final outputs for the benefit of the Nation.

He appealed to stakeholders at the public hearing to meticulously examine and review every aspect of the bills to assist the House in its effort to make legislation that would improve the nation’s economic standard.

In his remark, the Chairman house committee on Governmental Affairs Mr Akin Alabi noted that the two Bills proposing efficient service delivery needs a proper framework to guide its activities which would, in turn, enable the smooth running of the Agencies.

The event was attended by Government Agencies and relevant stakeholders across boards who threw their weights in support of the Bills.
