President Muhammad Buhari has inuagurated the Sabon Gari ultra modern market and roads projects in Zaria and Sabon Gari local government areas of kaduna state.

Radio Nigeria reports that the Sabon Gari modern market has 2 762 shops with an administration block, parking lot, food court, fire service station and security post among other components.

The President, however, inaugurated phases one and two of the market while phase three was yet to be completed.

The roads projects in Zaria and Sabon Gari local governments inaugurated by the president were constructed under the urban renewal projects of the state government.


Muhammadu Buhari in company of Governor, Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufa’i toured the newly commissioned roads in Zaria metropolis amidst cheers by the huge crowd of people that trooped out to welcome him.

He thereafter proceeded to the Emir’s palace in zaria City for a courtesy visit to the Emir of zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, after which he left for Kaduna.

Radio Nigeria recalled that President Muhammad Buhari was in Kaduna State for a two-day working visit, flew in from Banjul, the Gambia where he attended the inauguration of President Adama Barrow’s second term in office.
