82 year old Dr. Ahmad Bamba was born in Ghana. His full name is Sheikh Ahmad Muhammad Ibrahim Bamba also known as Dr. Ahmad BUK and Kala Haddasana.

He completed his schooling at one of Ghana’s high schools before proceeding to Saudi Arabia to further his studies.

Dr. Ahmad Bamba was a lecturer at the department of Arabic Bayero University Kano where he had his doctorate degree,before he resigned and went fully into Islamic preaching.

He was a renowed scholar of Hadith,where he used to preach at Bayero University mosque but later in his mosque called Darul Hadith at Tudun Yola in Kano municipal local government area.

The late Dr. Ahmed was married to three wives and survived by 30 children.

He passed away on 7th January 2022 at Aminu Kano teaching hospital after a protracted illness.

The family announced his funeral prayers at Darul Hadith mosque and gas since been buried according to Islamic rites at Dandolo cemetery in Goron Dutse.

Dignitries at the funeral prayer include his royal highness the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero,Kano deputy governor Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and other prominent Nigerian’s.

Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna who spoke to Radio Nigeria described the late Dr. Ahmad as a scholar who would forever be remembered due to his immense contributions to mankind.

Kano state has been thrown into deep mourning following the demise of the Islamic scholar in the early hours of Friday 7th January 2022.
