About five hundred youths both men and women have been engaged as Special Assistant to Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State aimed at reducing poverty and unemployment rate in the state.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political matters and inter party relations, Alhaji Ibrahim Ma’aji stated this in Gusau while presenting letters of appointment to new special assistants to the Governor.

Alhaji Ma’aji said the essence of appointing such people is to reduce unemployment rate and to provide job opportunities to the teeming youths in the state as well as to serve as ambassadors to the Governor and the electorate in bridging the gap between government and people of the state.

He therefore called on each and every political appointee to find out some routes and avenues of helping others through what they are earning from government to deliver dividends of democracy to the electorate.

The SA also assured that they would fish out any one found sabotaging the administration of governor Bello Matawalle or not assisting any body with his means of lively hood.

In his contribution, the former Party Chairman, Alhaji Danfulani Maikatako called on the newly appointed special assistants to use the opportunity and confidence bestowed on them in moving this administration of Governor Matawalle to the next level.

He also urged others yet to be appointed to remain calm as the administration would carry every one along.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Comrade Ali Bulala commended the efforts of the present administration for choosing them to serve.

According to him, they would so everything possible to develop, the party, state and the country at large through proper and adequate representation of both electorate and government.
